    Good Morning Gentlemen,

Update......Your Aftershaves leave here tomorrow, but with no label design....I can wait another week "or so", and probably ship them together, but honestly I think I can take a pretty good photograph and post it here that will suffice for you to say you like it or you don't.

Currently there are two different designs, or three when including the single "SRP Private label". At this point I would like to say, I hope you don't grow impatient with me.

The problem that arises for me with testing, and new products......is that $$$ orders always take precedent, so please remember that not only are orders being filled, but somebody which is Me....has to make new soap and cream so I can keep filling orders, and actually I'm sure each of you understands this from a business point of view, but sometimes I feel really bad that I say, I'll get these out at such and such time and then don't, but as orders come in then our tests keep moving to the back burner. So please......don't lose patience with me.

I have made minor adjustments to the base of #1.....with a very small amount of shea butter to help with moisturizing the skin, but the overall base is the same, and well liked...even by the few who have received samples of the aftershave in the general population trying to get a feel of what the men think of the base in general, and again.....the few of these I have sent out are sent to the individual only as "something I've been working on" and they are unaware of our tests.

The base of # 4/5 ......which has been dubbed #45 will hopefully hit the mark this time with the best of the two combined and the addition of a small amount of menthol for that sought after "cooling" sensation.

The two scent blends of #3 and #6 have had some adjustments. For #3....only minor tweaking.

#6 has undergone some changes though...... The overall scent is the same, but I adjusted the ratios and added another two other essential oils to try to balance the blend.

This was a suggestion to me by our "wine taster".....when describing the nuance of a fine wine from the initial aroma wafting from the glass, to the first taste, and then the taste that lingers....well, this is very similar to scent blending. The analogy given by our wine tester, was so perfect in describing a missing link in the notes of the blend. I hope you find my adjustments pleasing to the senses.

Printing labels.....a sore subject for me due to my lack of computer skills, and the person I hired to help me was not experienced enough to follow thru, and I was still doing all the work anyway; so......I have at least discovered that the printing company I usually work with will send out the artwork in correct format (obviously for a fee) to the digital printing company. The company chosen is www.incrediblelables.com and chosen because they will run one sheet of labels or a thousand with custom die cuts at no extra charge.

We had some miscommunication at first.....but we're all on the same page now, and I'm hopeful for good results. You should take a look at their site, because this is the company that will print the SRP labels.

Some of you may or may not have noticed the a few of the webpages for TGQ came up on Friday. Amir is currently traveling back and forth to PA for a SAP course and is out of town, but I can see this week coming will be spent tweaking several things....HOLY COW! The biggest thing to me is there are no pictures, and the menu letters are in purple....no its not supposed to look like that, and just some other minor things I noticed in the navigation where links need to be corrected. So we will be lining out those bugs when he returns and then we'll add the paypal feature one page at time.

Until my help is trained....and yes Gentlemen, we have not only one new employee, we have two....sorda Is anyone else's life crazy like this Jimminy!! But so I'm not repeating myself, I'll have to finish this story up over on the other thread, I've been gone for so long....they'll think I've taken a trip somewhere.

On a happy note, because both #3 and #6 are essential oils only......I have been studying in my books and it looks to be acceptable to move the ratio of "strength" to 10% rather than the commonly followed practice of 3% - 5% for fragrance based oils. So these will be scented somewhere between 7% and 10%.

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen

    Hey Soapmistress,

We understand we are testers not bosses. Hey the saying is Money talks and Bull$#@ walks.

We are an anxious group don't worry about us we just are having a blast testing the wares. They get here when they get here.

    Cool beans. Can't wait.

I know.....y'all are the best Darn group of Men I've ever known!

But STILL, I'm a type A personality, with OCD.....and I worry too. I'm what they call a "total package" but I've discovered that these fine attributes weigh greatly in my favor when it comes to formulating and package design....so its usually worth the wait. But I know sometimes folks are anxious, so I really do appreciate your kind words and RichZ, since you don't mind waiting........ LOL....kinda makes you wonder... don't it.

I have discovered that after working with menthol you should remember to wash your hands before you rub your eye....ouch! da%$$%

Oh noooo....did I forget to mention the Father's Day Sale ....talk about AS's being moved to the back burner LMAO

Ok....teasing aside, one of you actually has an order mixed in here, and this will mail first thing in the morning along with your AS test samples.

The rest of you will receive your test samples thru out the week. Randy since you are always last to receive your samples I will be sure to put your box in front, so you at least end up receiving them about the same time as everyone else.

.....and yes.....Father's Day Sale and all.....your other order should mail out on time.

I'm here Gentlemen!!! The Sale is going good.....10% off....10% off....

    XXWarm Regards, Colleen
