Default Oh Arko....where have you been all my life?

My water recently became very hard. Consequently my favorite soap, MWF, stopped lathering pretty much altogether. It was drying out the instant the brush hit my face. Tried my second favorite soap, Mama Bear's Awakenings, same thing.

Then someone suggested that Arko works well with hard water. Man, was he right. I got possibly the best shave of my life today with Arko. Rich, slick, creamy lather that left my skin feeling as moisturized as MWF (no small feat). My razor just melted the hair off my face with it. If it works this well with hard water, I can't imagine what it would be like with soft water.

If you've been wondering if a Turkish soap could be any good...stop wondering and buy a stick. It's magic.

And it's so freaking cheap too! At $2.50 for a stick or $3.00 for a tub, you have absolutely nothing to lose.

It is good, it is cheap.
The only thing stopping me from actually keeping one in the house is the urinal cake smell of it.
Quite possibly the worst smelling soap ever made by man. imho

Well, indeed, and truly, that is all I need to hear.

    Thank you for the warning.

Always amazed how people can find a lemon scent, like that of lemon scented laundry detergent, offensive.

Blame the urinal cake maker factory! We associate scent with thing's. I know DR Harris Arlington reminds me of all purpose cleaner.

Amazes me the hugh sums of money people spend for shaving soaps when some of the best are very inexpensive.
Such as Arko, euro palmolive,Cella,a 1kg block of cella is the shaving soap bargin of the century IMO.
