I have the lime and bergamot and the lilac. Lilac products are not common and this one does smell like lilacs. My family always had roses and lilacs in the yard, so the scent reminds me of summer at home. The lather is slick and maybe not as thick as some others, but just about perfect for a straight razor. Maggard's soaps are made by Maria Arman and are good stuff!

    Cheers, Steve

i too have recently received the lime and bergamot maggards as well as some dapper dragon blood orange....been using them both and i do like them both...i would have to give the nod to maggards vs dapper dragon for the thick lather....but i only used the dapper dragon twice and am still fiddling with the water ratio.....they both do smell great. the maggards is my favorite lime scented soap that pairs well with castle forbes lime aftershave balm.

I have been using the Maggard Limes & Bergamot for 3 months now in my rotation. It has become one of my "Top 5" soaps. I had another excellent shave this morning.

Lince's posts and good reviews sold me. I had to order the samples of their soaps.

Lince is one of the biggest enablers on this forum. Always has gorgeous brushes an DE's in his pics. Makes me spend money. The good news is he hasn't steered me wrong yet. We have the same tastes it seems in a lot of products. Guess the maggards are gonna get more of my paycheck.

I placed my order on my morning break, literally just minutes before Lince posted last and I had a confirmation of shipping before 3:00 pm. I received a personal email letting me know. Can't beat that service.

    Just arrived Razorock Bergomont. Highquality
Picked up a couple of tins of Kells. Vanilla, Arabian Spice, and a Liliac.
Maggards always delivers. They are quick knowledgeable and ship faster than greased lightning.
They sell out quick so if you have a must have soap let them know. These people own customer service. They shoot you an email when product arrives.

As soon as I placed my order for those samples my three year old gave my brush a hair cut. So a new one should be coming today so I can give them a whirl.

Oh I know a three yr old that would get a head shave! Hope it wasn't a high end brush.
