Caties Bubbles sure gets a lot of good comments. Maybe I need to try it

I try to avoid most products that contain cinnamon scent or oil. There's only one soap I've had a bad reaction to (and that was more because of almond oil than cinnamon) but I'd rather not take the risk.

That being said though, Catie's Bubbles are great products as well and worth taking a shot on.

Ordered a sample of the London Barbershop a few weeks ago. I tend to shave every other day, so I've been able to get several shaves out of the sample.

I have nothing but positive things to say about it:

    - The scent is great. I elected to not use aftershave. The Mrs. really likes it
    - Provides excellent cushion and glide. Smooth. (Tallow!)
    - Lathers nicely. Full bodied lather with a great consistency.

All in all, a great product. Christmas is around the corner, so be sure to add it to your Christmas list. I will be ordering a full size shortly.

I used the Fougere Sauvage and it's great stuff over all, but I get a little irritating stinging sensation when using it. Anyone here ever experience that? It's not so bad really, the pros beat out that single con, so I'll keep using it. The scent is light, but super fresh and grassy, very enjoyable.

Whisky I like the FS also. I am curious if you have sensitive skin to other soaps an creams also? The FS is suppose to be for sensitive skin. I personally don't get any stinging from it. Limes an Berg on the other hand tends to get that way on pass 3.

Interesting discussion -- I've never used the FS, but got that reaction from their new Cinnamon Vanilla scent...almost a burning. I use the Lime and Orange varieties many times and never had any issues, nor with any other soaps or creams EXCEPT green Proraso, the first time I used it and did (probably) too much "scraping", since I was brand new to SRs.

I've never had an issue with any other soaps or creams, it stings just enough to be noticed. It's not enough to get me to quit using it though, smells to darn good.

I have a few of their other soaps on hand, haven't tried them yet. I'm hoping its just the FS that bugs me.

I wanted to wake this thread up, because recently, I've gone back to Maggard's Lime and Bergamot and Orange artisan soaps as my rotation and I have to say they lather as well as anything I've used and provide absolutely great cushion and glide. I can't say enough good things about them (love the scents, too).

+1! I shaved with Limes and Bergamot, the vegan version today.

Yesterday must have been limes an bergamot day. I also used it. Complete three pass face an two pass head shave. Excellent stuff.
