I've faced the same dilemma though it's usually a fragrance I don't care for. You can scrape the soap out of the bowl with a spoon and put it back in the container. Although not a minimalist approach, you can get small Pyrex spice bowls dirt cheap at Wal-Mart and I use them in the kitchen too.

Finally got my shipment. Limes is awesome an the shave fantastic! FS is for sure a lighter scent but if it performs as well as limes then it will still get used. SWMBO LOVES her Lilac an I must admit it does smell good even though its a bit girlish.

Thanked: 1185That's one cure for an excessively floppy knot You might want to keep that one for an exfoliator. So I've already been stocking Maggard razors for a while, now I guess I'll have to pop for the soap as well.
@ Lince- How's that Fine AS treating you? Which one do you like the best? The older I get, the better I was

OGI-You will like the Maggard soaps! As far as the Fine AS's, I like the Platinum best, followed by the American Blend. I did not like the Clean Vetiver or Italian Citrus (not currently available). I have not used the Fresh Vetiver or L'Orange Noir.
I used the American Blend today.

Waiting to see who tries the new cinn scent from mags. I do not like the smell of vanilla as a main scent. Hoping this scent is not to vanilla. I really enjoy maggards soaps. They are all fantastic performers. Im sure the new one will be no different.

I got it, I tried it twice. Not for me. The scent is Christmasy -- pine? maybe along with cinnamon....didn't notice any vanilla scent. Lathered fine, I just didn't like the scent or the amount of "tingle" I got from it. Anyone who wants it can PM me and I'll mail it to them...or I'll send a bunch of people samples in little baggies. Let me know.
On the other hand, I got the Orange also because I liked the Lime and Bergamot so much and the Orange is also a killer soap. I just love those two scents and more importantly, the way they lather and provide glide.Just call me Harold

The cinnamon maggards burned a bit much for me. Scent was nice...like a pinesol cinnamon cocktail. Not a rebuy for me. Caties bubbles is nicer for me.
