This is still one of my favorites, the Savon a la Barbe a l'Alum, Osma Shaving Soap, takes a bit of skill to lather according to some, but I find this a truly interesting and unique shaving soap, beautiful scent, rich lather, traditionally French, and the way the alum infusion leaves the skin afterwards, warm, tingling, is just unlike any other soap I've tried.

I am loving Stirling's "Margaritas in the Arctic" right now. The cooling properties of the menthol in this soap are amazing. Hours later if I touch my face a cool blast is my reward. The smoothness of the lather is something that can only be felt not described. I have a hard time setting the brush down. As far as the scent goes both my wife and I like it. The citrus notes are present but not over powering. Just I imagine sitting in the Arctic Circle with a margarita. The smell of the cold would over shadow the smell of the drink. Great soap Rod.

Tabac. As Steely Dan would say, "so outrageous."

    Arko shave stick.

Since the title of this thread is, "Favorite Soap at The Moment", I am finally be able to report, after over a year, I have finally tried the Arko shave stick, so cool just rubbing the stick on the face then with a wet brush watching thick, wonderfully scented lather bloom on the face, wow, worth all the praise it gets, so, that's my current favorite soap of the moment.

I got re-acquainted with Arko as I was in Vegas last week. Anytime I travel I take an Arko shave stick with me. It travels well. But every time I use it, I get a new appreciation for the quality of this soap.
