At the Moment my favourite Soap is the Savon de Volcans Menthe Soap with 10% Donkey Milk, in my eyes the soap with the most authentic mint scent i ever had, far far away from the more or less synthetic smelling Palmolive and other Mint Soaps.

Like many of us I have baskets full of soaps, and it's hard to decide what to use some times.
I was using T&H Ultimate Comfort for a long time - first to get the hang of it (that did not take long) and it was just so nice. Before that it had been a very long stretch of MdC. The other day I was rooting around in the cabinet and a couple of things fell out, literally. In the tumble the soap dish and cover of Tabac (not the Tabac ceramic, but a dish & lid that the SWMBO gave me to reuse) hit the floor and was shattered.
And I have to pitch it all because of the glass shrards and of course I now have to have Tabac. As soon as the replacement shows up its my new favorite.

When I had a rotation it was MdC, MWF, Cella (Brick-1kg), Vostok and a player to be named later.

These are good problems to have my brothers...what soap to use...

    Smooth shaving...

This morning, for the second time, I used St. James of London from a travel tube.
I find it an amazing soap and shaves as well as TOBS or Truefit and Hill.

Used a 1/2 inch (1.27 cm) squirt on a finger and spread it around my face and then applied a well soaked badger to work up the lather. Plenty of lather with great glide and cushion.

    I recommend this cream.

I also have St James crème and it is an excellent crème. Not the very best but certainly a good one. For me the best crème is castle Forbes but I have not tried Barrister and mann yet
One tired old Marine- semper fi, god bless all vets

I have and have tried many of the ones mentioned. Like many, my favorite tends to change but for now it is Barrister & Mann. I have the Cheshire scent and I love it. I plan to try some of their other scents soon. For me, this soap is the whole package; easy to lather, great cushion, super slick, and awesome scent.
