I did the same thing. I was waiting on a prescripion refill a Walgreens one day & was looking for the Palmolive cram in a tube but found this Cremo & it seems to work great for me. I still use my others but this one, I thought I would give it w try & it works pretty good plus it has a nice smell to it.

Thanked: 0I use Cremo often brush mixed with MWF. I do this by keeping a puck of MWF in a rubber mug and mixing the Cremo on top using a shave brush. The benefit would be control of the thickness of the Cremo, which can be runny. I like the MWF in its own rite and the addition of lanolin care for the skin, but with the added slickness of Cremo.

Thanked: 0Just a note of agreement. The primary attribute of Cremo I enjoy is the amazing slickness. To a point, adding water only increases this!

Used to face lather - thought Cremo was no better than average.
Now I bowl lather - think Cremo is excellent. My father was an engineer. He used to tell me that sharpening a straight razor is like trying to build a ladder to the moon out of a roll of aluminum foil.

Thanked: 39I haven't tried yet "Thinking about it though" if it helps the soap, my Rite Aid has it next to the Van Der Hagan bowl, soap and stand. I'm still on the Van Der Hagan soap and brush Its a nice starter set for beginners.

I haven't found that the soaps I use need any help from Creamo. But as a pre shave, I guess it might help, but then again as I learned more and got better performing soaps I got away from a bunch of products to"help" my soap along. Tc

Creamo works great with a bowl and brush or applied directly to my face. It has a nice scent and its very inexpensive.
