I have had good luck with every Stirling soap I have tried, but since that has already been mentioned, I will say that Chiseled Face soaps are great. I really enjoy the Sherlock scent.

First of all....THANK YOU for your service.
I agree with Steve, who recommended Boellis Panama 1924 and Strop Shoppe SE, particularly their Barbershop and Bay Rum, which is a wonderful non-clove bay rum.
BTW if you are looking for a really nice leather scent, try Acqua di Parma Colonia Leather EdC. Outstanding." Never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty, never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense." Sir Winston Churchill, 1941

Thanked: 1I make a very nice lather with the Stirling Ozark. It takes me a few minutes but I am rewarded with a beautiful lather with my boar brush.

Thanked: 5Cella is also one of my first and favorite tallow based soaps/croaps very consistent and comfortable shaves. I must admit at first I was not a huge fan of the scent but it has grown on me I think I will use it tomorrow with my new Koken 15/16 straight.
This thread is getting multiple recs for Sterling. I'm going to break down and order some soon. Thanks for all the input. It really does help me in my never ending search for the ultimate shaving soap! I may never find it but I will continue to look very hard!

Thanked: 5It's like my search for the perfect concealed carry handgun or best entry rifle...If I found it I would have no excuse to ever purchase another and there is ALWAYS a better rifle or handgun out there right?...even though I'm still carrying a very old and dependable Glock 19 which is analogous to Tabac or MWF for me I guess. Ha.

Having tried more than 40 soaps, most of them tallow based, I am prefer MWF if performance is the first criterion. Close to that is Dimitris' soaps. Must try artisan ones!
