Thanked: 2Shave Soap/Cream Suggesstion!
Hello All,
I am looking for a new shave soap/cream as a gift. Don't want to break the bank of this! Can you suggest me something good?
I personally have used TOB (my favorite), Prorasso (decent), Col Conk (quite simply... pathetic). Can you tell me some other names? Cella is something i i saw thrown around in the forum. Some other names would be good as well. Thanks!

Thanked: 2284Tabac is one of the best soaps I've used. It has everything a quality soap needs and the price is very good. Lathers very easy, lather is thick, slick and cushions well. The scent is also very manly. For a beginner they should have an enjoyable experience with Tabac.
I should add, that if you buy just the puck it's cheaper and your friend can just put it in a cheap bowl to hold it. That's what I usually do.Last edited by HARRYWALLY; 10-12-2015 at 05:31 PM.

Your bank might be quite different from anyone else's. What is the price range which you would find acceptable?

Thanked: 2Sub $20 is my target. I was thinking about Tabac or Cella. But could not find any idea or options on fragrance. Since its a gift fragrance is important! For me, i can do with anything.

Green Mountain Soap !
At about 13 USD a puck it's a bargain.
And if someone gave me Tabac as a gift, I'd throw it back at them.

Thanked: 3225I must be a child molester then as I like the Tabac scent. I agree with on all counts. I will say that the Tabac scent is very polarizing, either you like it or you don't. As you want it for a gift then possibly a gift certificate is an idea because scent is a personal thing. Just tell them you got the certificate because you did not want to take a chance that they would not like the scent.

It's probably a cultural thing. Tabac smells like old men in the seventies used to. It's a no-go scent like 4711 or Nivea.

Thanked: 2Its alright! Fragrance is preferential. To each his own i guess.
I saw the name Mama Bear thrown around a lot. Is it any good?
