Thanked: 30Obie, you have PannaCrema listed in both your First and Second tier. Could you clarify, please. Maybe at one time you were referring to differing scents?

I only tried the Blu and the Red. The scent from the Blu is heavenly, but I choked on the scent from the Red. I have not tried the others. Either way, the soap's performance cannot be denied. Good stuff. Also, the scent of the Blu does not vary from what is in the tub and what is on my Hollywood face.

Thanked: 30Okay tried the Blu. Upon first use the scent did open up a bit for me. More citruses and florals came out. Very pleasant scent and not too strong. I prefer more punch in my scent but with the strength level it has, it will not clash with any aftershave or cologne. And that in itself is a strength. Performance is amazing! 4 yogurty passes no prob! Probably more left in there but the shave did not require it. Seems a bit thirstier than average. Will take more lathers with it to know for certain.

you know....I'm glad this forum and, specifically, this thread is still alive and well.
I started my wet shaving journey years ago with MDC and Castle Forbes (on advice from gentlemen on this forum). I've used near 100 other soaps and creams since, and I have come full circle back to MDC and CF. Honestly, the advice I got way back when was truly outstanding.
I still like a bit of variety and use Meissner Dark Limes and their lavender .....and DR Harris sandalwood just because I love the scent. I've tried many of the "artisans" and while some are very good they do not outperform the kings...MDC and CF.Last edited by Big; 04-27-2019 at 10:04 PM.
