I thought you were going to say because you didn't shave you met fame and fortune and are on your way to Hollywood.

Gentlemen,
The Art of Shaving creams are Second Tier products in this listing; however, I found The Art of Shaving Oud fragrance so unpleasant that I sent the cream to the Basement. OY!
I like the two Phoenix shave soaps I have tried: Alt-Eleven and Harvest Moon. They are Second Tier.
The Stirling Lime and Orange Chill, however, have medicinal fragrances. Although not unpleasant, they are far from stellar citrus fragrances. The Castle Forbes lime shave cream sets the standard for all the citrus scented soaps and creams, and I am sorry to say the Stirling versions fall way below that standard of quality. So they are in the Third Tier. As always, this is only my opinion.Last edited by Obie; 04-18-2017 at 03:32 AM.

Wow Obie, thanks, was thinking about checking that one out but had read a few non-starters on that one....
Now, when you say went to the basement, that's serious in my books, but I need to ask, was it "boxed" and sent to the basement?
That's the place for me where soaps end their days....

I find all the Phoenix soaps that I have tried lather well and are good overall. I've put the Alt-Eleven and the Harvest Moon in the Second Tier. They are pleasant fragrances. On the other hand, the Phoenix Lime and the Orange Chill fragrances are medicinal and far from true citrus scents.
Gentlemen, I must make a correction here: the Lime and the Orange Chill are shave soaps produced by Stirling rather than Phoenix. My mistake. Overall, I do like the Stirling products. I think they could have done much better with the scents of the Lime and the Orange Chill.Last edited by Obie; 04-18-2017 at 03:24 AM.

Thanked: 2591PAA is one of the worst soaps I have tried so far.
I have never seen a soap that makes lather that looks like it should , but has no cushion, glide or protection.Stefan
