Well, this is a good way to try all three PannaCrema soaps...just arrived, nice jars, little bigger than a Loonie (if you're a Canuck) or a US Silver Dollar...about one inch, maybe a little less, deep, hold a very nice amount, I'd say enough for 5 or 6 shave.

First one up tonight will be the Verde, Green, which is their Vetiver flavour I believe.

Agreed, much nicer way to try than at $90 per pop, I love my soaps and cremes, and if one of these is a winner, than no problemo, but I've been caught on that hook one to many times to get soaked for that amount.

Another shout out to SemperFi for suggesting the shave samples, site has literally dozen's of different high end soaps available...that will be my new path......

Going to try not to go off here, only first shave, but holy crap...I thought Castle Forbes burst with lather...think these guys took a lesson from them and went further.

Here is the one I tried from the sample, and make that enough for 10 shaves I'd say...

    PannaCrema NUÀVIA VERDE:

The top notes are fresh and aromatic:

    Grapefruit
    Bay Leaves
    Rose
    The middle notes are woody:

    Cedarwood
    Vetyver
    Precious Wood
    Base notes are Amber:

    Amber
    White Musk
    Goldmoss

Scent leapt out of the scuttle and is incredible, super glide, the scent and aroma on the nose through the entire shave was there, rising up the entire time, didn't want to stop, figured at 4 passes it was enough. Figures this would be a top dollar soap.

I'd buy the Verde right now...have the other two to try, and if they're anything like this, I can see some new entries in the Top 5.

Just burns my azzz....a nice expensive soap like Floris and so many others, just crash and burn compared to this. Closest to this level new that I've tried would be the Gomez and Krokos...and the Krokos fails in the scent department as far as I'm concerned....I like saffron, but I'd almost like to smell it if I'm supposed to be shaving with it.

Hey guys, glad you're liking Shave Dash--their selection is stellar! Wish I had found them before purchasing a few dogs....

Phrank, great write up on the PC Verde; am looking forward to your takes on the others! PC is top tier for me as well.

I have the blue and it's top notch stuff. Top Tier all the way in every way. It's a bit on the perfume side but it's very similar to the Acca Kappa Almond in performance or the Mantia Abbate for that matter. I'm no good at describing scents so I can't help you there but after shaving it does not linger.

Personally I prefer the Acca Kapa Almond or the Abbate Saffron but that's just me.
