Pithor, I have now tried both and will agree with you. I'm very happy with both creams.
As to the skin care, I also agree with you there. At least on my face, it feels much better after the shaveLook sharp and smell nice for the ladies.~~~Benz

Thanked: 81I've been following this thread for quite a while now, as well as the Top Five thread, and finally my curiosity got the best of me: I followed Phrank & SemperFi's lead with the samples from ShaveDash, choosing a few soaps that are difficult to get/expensive in Canada. They were delivered today, so tonight I tried out MdC. I have to say that it lived up to the hype, and possibly more. It was so easy and quick to whip up a warm & thick lather, and the scent is fantastic (traditional scent: complex but subtle at the same time! My girlfriend loves it, too). Even though they say the sample is enough for 3 or 4 multi-pass shaves, based on the amount I used today I'm sure I'll get about a dozen shaves out of it.
I've only tried a couple of the soaps considered by this thread to be Top Tier, and even though I really liked them, up to this point I had always felt they were not really worth the price. MdC, however, might be worth it. We'll see how I feel when I finish the sample.

A surprisingly nice addition to the 2nd Tier, very nice, RazoRock Tuscan Oud Italian Shaving Soap, and threw in the aftershave splash as well, reminiscent of the Tom Ford...very surprised this turned out to be as nice as it was and can't beat the price.

I had a very kind member here send me some samples of the MDC. So ive now had three shaves with the stuff. Im starting to get the understanding why its top tier. The lather and the amount of soap needed. This stuff just blooms up and is very slick. Good feel afterwards. If it had more scent to it id be happier as playing with gas for some many years my nose dont work so well. The scent is so light i can hardly tell if i was given Fourege and Rose.
It was very kind of TC to send me the samples. Hes a fine, stand-up kinda of guy. It's just Sharpening, right?

Well, I'm going for it....my top 8 soaps and creams so far:
PannaCrema NuÃvia Line - Verde, Rossa, and Blue
MdC - all flavours.
Castle Forbes - again, love em all.
XPEC
Klar Seifen
DR Harris
T&H Creams.
Penhaligon hard soaps
But the PannaCrema NuÃvia line takes first spot for me...this stuff is the bomb.
