It would be so nice if they would offer Nuavia refills, without that damn, heavy jar.

yes Andrew the Lavender!!!,, and they are both number one cause MDC is a soap/Croap and Castle Forbes is a cream so they are the top of the line, but yes the Lavender is my favorite, the lime has its place, usually on a hot summer day,, but I guess my fav is lavender when you consider its my flavor of choice in Thayers witch hazel too. so Dave your in for a treat, and the Baume Be is a great choice to, my half jar is lonely cause of MDC so you may not be giving it a fair chance once you crack open those C.F. creams Tc

My son decided to shave tonight, he used the sample of Pannacrema Blu, I got it going in the scuttle for him, man is that a heavenly fragrance, ended up doing a one pass with his DE for the fun of it, the scent is really coming out for me now, cinnamon and a range of really nice scents.
I can't remember trying a soap as nice as these since I first tried CF Lavender or MdC...
I know I'm caving, as sure as the glaciers carved their way through North America, that it is inevitable, the Shaving Soap Acquisition Disorder will overwhelm me and I'll end up with all 3 of these soaps, I'm pathetic, and it's not my fault.....

Phrank, that's an awesome experience, along with a great soap, to share with your son!
I've enjoyed reading your observations about PC over the past few. I haven't broken out the Rosa yet, but I hear you about how good these are and am glad to hear the Blu's scent is growing on you...definitely my favorite of the 2 I've tried thus far. Sounds like more PC is in your, and possibly your son's, future! Really enjoyed seeing the PC Verde in your Shave of the Day shot today.
On the flipside to the PC, I tried out Saponificio Varesino's 75th Anniversary (had it for a while) this morning, and it was disappointing. While it lathered well and had good cushion, it's slickness left a lot to be desired. It did just OK on WTG and XTG passes but where it really fell short was XTG (this pass is now my ultimate slickness barometer with a straight). So far I'm basically 2 & 0 with SV soaps--Alpine Tundra went directly to the trash because of its smell and 75th is probably not going to last in my rotation for long--will give it a another go or two to see if it was operator error with the soap re its slickness. My SV purchases were made before I discovered Shave Dash.... Oh well, at least their latest puck bowls are nice.
Seized on what you and Obie shared about Harris' Windsor and Klar' Classic...they are a couple of soaps I haven't tried yet, but based on your and Obie's reviews, both are on their way to the den and am looking forward to giving them a go when they arrive.
This entire thread is awesome for not only discovering new soaps and creams but also hearing other's honest opinions and experiences with other products!Last edited by SemperFi; 05-24-2017 at 02:16 AM.
