Anyone have opinions on where captains choice cream falls? Been using d.r Harris sandalwood or mwf but love captains AS was debating on ordering.

Finally got to try a first tier soap and now know why they are first tier. Ordered some castle forbes and used this morning. First thing that got me how little I needed for a 3 pass shave. Felt like I barely loaded the brush and I had plenty of lather. Next was the cushion. I've been a big fan of alum post shave. I can always tell when I've used too much pressure or my lathering subpar. Hit my face with the alum today and nothing, barely and of that alum sting. Applied some a/s and the face feel post shave was fantastic. Definitely a believer in the first tier soaps/creams. This stuff will always have a place in the shave den.

Of course I just had my shave, with some nice DR Harris Lavender hard soap, which was superb.

Finished everything up, sat down with a hot cup of coffee, knock on the door, and it's the Post Man, look what arrived...

Until I can get a shave in with this, I'll hold back any comment, needs to get worked up in a very warm scuttle with a nice brush and lathered for me to give it a fair shake.

Going to use a Fine aftershave...either Clean Vetiver or Fresh Vetiver...but before I put a splash on, will be doing a smell comparison. That way those that have the Fine aftershave hopefully can get an idea of it.

They came in glass jars as well, I had heard they were shipping them in plastic - nope, nice crystal glass jars, all class.

Very nice Phrank. If I can find a little extra cash after buying myself some early christmas presents aka guns I will be making an order here soon. I look forward to your review of these special flavors
