    Now, I just assumed that the scent had dissipated over the years even though it was wrapped like yours was and in a wood bowl. Could be that it did have a mild scent when new.

    That and Palmolive shave cream were favourites of mine. I think they quit selling Palmolive in Canada first and then Noxzema disappear a few years later.

    I picked a few tubes of Nivea up one time and one tube had pink coloured shave cream in it. That pink cream smelled a lot like the old Noxzema stuff.

    I wish they would bring back Noxzema.

    I don't remember using aftershave with it...kind of built in to the product or it could have been my primitive shaving regimen.
