True but that's what makes them tier one-a limited class with much thought going into the scent.

I don't think I have ever seen someone say they didn't like the scent of Xpec or MDC or castle Forbes. Everyone seems to love them.

I don't really go for menthol
    In fact I dislike it

My normal edge gel is anything for sensitive skin
Just because I think it gives me a better shave
Not because of any type of skin sensitivity

I've also been know to use a plain old bar of olive oil based
    Soap
Not any kind of fantastic lather but i get a great shave with a cartridge
I haven't tried it with the straight razor Yet

Still playing and trying different things

I don't normally go in for any scent
And don't use any after shave

I've tried a few different aftershave creams in the past and
They don't do a thing for me

You might look into Seifenglatt, bordeaux. ( Unscented )

It lathers quite easily, good cushion, great glide, and leaves your skin nice and soft..and my water is so hard, ya gotta chew it before swallowing it.

If you'd like, PM me your address and I'll send ya some. At least you won't have to buy a whole tub to find out ya don't care for it.

Here's a pic of the ingredients, minus the parfume being its scent free.

Personally, I have never enjoyed the scent of MdC. I don't know what it is, but is smells like burnt rubber to me, at times. Furthermore, it usually leaves my skin feeling a tad dry.
Other than these factors, it preforms wonderfully and it seems to last for quite a long time.

I finally found someone who does not like the scent of XPEC -- tcrideshd! He informed me a few weeks ago that the stuff reeks of almonds.

I didn't even realize almonds had a scent unless they're Blue Diamond Smoked almonds.

When I discovered MdC was lavender scented, I knew it would never appear on my SAD list.

For the money I was expecting more scent excitement than what was presented to me from the two different MdC's that I've tried. Excellent, tier one, but not powerful enough.

Speedster, give me your address and ill send you the jar of Xpec I have ,, it surely wont get used at my house Tc by the way the MDC has a no scent also along with the Fourgere which is Fern, and the new scent with rose in it, this is why they are great scents because they are not overpowering, If I wanted to go around smelling strong I could use some of the artisan soaps that are more scent and poor lather. a truly fine soap will give you a hint of the scent and mellow out so as to not interfere with any after shave or cologne

Since I like a strong scent, which artisan soaps do you recommend that also give a poor lather and I'll change over to that since it is my only option.
