Damn it.
ScoutHikerDad had to go and send me a sample of the MDC Vetyver. Of course, this has led to me placing an order of my own (Vetyver is sold out but Maggard has a limited edition and a guy on Ebay has the fougere).
There are WAYYYY too many enablers on this site.Last edited by sonnythehooligan; 11-09-2019 at 07:35 PM.

Yeah, enablers (like Roy) have cost me a lot of money over the years. We try to help the new guys find the best products!

O.K. The English Shaving Company has them all in stock except fougere. The price is a few bucks higher than the MdC site, but the shipping seems better.

The agrumes, rose, and vetyver can be hard to find in the ‘off season’.

While I have been using the MDC in the Original Scent I find that they have a 'Scent Free' and next time I purchase some I'm going to order the Scent Free.
Why you ask? I've never been fond of soaps that have a heavy fragrance. I've used simple Ivory Bath Soap most of my adult life as it's almost scent free.
When I spend money for an aftershave lotion or cologne I don't want the smell of the soap messing with the AF or Cologne.
Hell I buy stick deodorants that are scent free for the same reason.
I suppose if someone bought the same scent in a soap, after shave and such that would work. However this old redneck isn't about to do that.

Most scented soaps do not linger. They completely wash off when you're done shaving. Some don't and I avoid those. I don't like lingering scents either.
