However, for the past few months, I have been using many products from Sephora, which are amazing, especially the ones from the Sephora collection. Moreover, if you need, you can check these Sephora Coupons. I have always used them, and I think they are amazing. Moreover, who doesn't love good products at a lower price? If you try them, I am sure you will fall in love as well, and your skin will thank you endlessly.

    Yes, I agree.
When people discuss how hard/easy it is to lather with MWF, they hardly mention water hardness.
When I was still based with the airline in Dubai, MWF lathered reasonably well (but not superbly). After retirement we moved to Coimbra, Portugal and here it lathers like a champ with the superb local water.

But I never bothered taking MWF with me on layover flights where I wasn’t sure how hard the water at the destination was.
The ceramic bowl that MWF is sold in is also not that well suited for travelling.

For these trips, Haslinger Schafmilch worked much better, as it seemed to be impervious to water hardness (and also came in that little tin can with screw top) and comes fairly close to MWF.

As a side note, too much lanolin/glycerin is also not ideal, as too much of it will make the razor slippery.
Don’t want to have that 6/8 Aust fall on my toes, do we???
(Maybe that is the true reason the safety razor was named as such… )

Yep, hard water can be a right pain. I've also found that soaps and creams that are hard to lather require a lot more product too.

It is believed that they positively affect the body and are less likely to cause allergic reactions. One such product is lanolin soap. It is made from a substance of animal origin, which is often used in industry. Despite several advantages, this soap has several disadvantages. The most important is the possibility of an allergic reaction. I graduated from the nail technology school at nwcollege, and we were warned about all these nuances.

My water is so soft that my two year old kettle still looks new inside and a quick swirl in my soaps gets so much lather that even after 4 passes i still wash loads down the sink.

On the downside though, my shower gel is a sod to get off.

Just giving some credit where it's due.

MDC is at the apex of soaps. Just a handful of soaps out there like these. They lather instantly and have great cushion and lube and last a long time. They also smell great and leave your face feeling great. Every quality a soap should have these have in spades.

I have sensitivities to smell due to neurological origins / migraines.
So I only choose soaps with little to no smell.

So far MdC Neutral without fragrance is really awesome for me.

Has anyone tried Haslinger soaps? I'm looking at their Sensitive without fragrance as well, they don't have Lanolin, but the Aloe should do good things as well.
I am also very curious in the Haslinger's sheep milk soap that does contain Lanolin, it does contain some perfume, but I was told they don't smell that much.

I ordered a few MdC Neutral 200g jars as back ups, but am curious about Haslinger Sensitive and their Sheep milk.

I stick with soaps with mild scents because big scents tend to irritate or give my skin a burn. I did try Haslingers Sheeps Milk but I wasn't impressed. However their Honig (Honey) is fantastic. It has a very mild scent and gives a lovely creamy slick lather. It actually makes my skin feel good. I will always have it in the den.

I've used Haslinger in the past. Some are pretty good and some are terrible. I don't recall which were the good ones.
