The preshave cream is an absolute must for me .I find that if I use it I get a great shave no matter what soap/cream I use.
The post shave milk is the best product i've used so far for me it works better &no irritation than anything I've used to date.
It out performs much dearer products. So these Two are in permanent use for me.Paul

I am firmly in the camp of you guys that like can have all of this foul smelling poor performing stuff. I can't stand proraso and have no deisre to try any of thier products again, there are waayy too many greay soaps and creams out there to mess around with these.

My wife HATES the smell of Proraso. I think it smells like Ivory bar soap on ten. It smells like..........soap, like in a men's locker room kind of soap. I don't know how else to describe it. I like the cooling effect and it does give a good shave. I use it still sometimes just to be a little stinker with my wife.

hated it the first time, love it after 4 times
Just see that lots of people hate it the first time and want to share my experience.
Two month was ordering some other shaving stuff and decided to try it, really disliked it when used it for the first time.
After a few day thought may be I was wrong, so tried it for the next few days again, and now do not shave without it, even started liking the smell. Just like almost anything, it needs some 'break in' time

I think it's not just alright - it's great!
Individuals skin works differently but having tried a fair few that others recommend, this still comes out tops for latherability, sensation and price. The smell is not overpowering and the aftershave cream works great too. Cheap and very cheerful.

I picked up a couple of tubes on B&B's bst and decided to try it this morning with williams mug soap as a superlather, and it was great. Not saying that it's going to replace Colleen's Cavendish Black anytime soon, but it will make a good back-up.
