Absolutely +1 on proraso in a tub. Easily found in Canada and it's really cheap. It also wakes you up nicely after a hot shower. For some reason I find it easier to lather this particular soap directly on my face rather than in a bowl.
I love the smell of menthol in the morning...

You can get plenty of soaps ( refills ) for 10 bucks or less.
My favorites are Mama Bears and L'occitane Cade currently. For creams I have had good luck with Derby creams as well as the C.O. Bigelow creams from Bath and Body Works.

Under 10.00, Ogalla Bay Rum and Sandalwood. You also have Mama Bear's shave soap. Straight Razor Designs has their own brand as well, and it's top notch, one of my favs. It's right around the 10.00 mark depending on your preference...
Shave Cream under 10.00, Tabac in the tube, Speick in the Tube....and of course Prorazo. I'm not fond of anything mentholated, but it is a good cream none the less.Last edited by zib; 03-07-2011 at 03:40 PM.
