16 soaps, 3 creams unless we count samples and I think I have enough samples to last two years.
I am keeping track and rating the samples so I can get more of my favorites in time.

LOL I shave at about the same frequency as you, and in nearly 5 years I have yet to use up a single product, including my oldest. So I think you're probably set for awhile

Oh, and to answer your question I must have over 20 (soaps and creams) by now, not including samples.

Being very good lately. One cream and two soaps (one of which is a shave stick!).

I just recently found this out myself, but any of the tallow-based soaps (Mitchell's Wool Fat, Tabac, Cella, Arko shave stick, Palmolive shave stick, Erasmic shave stick, Mike's naturals to name a few) will eventually spoil like butter or lard, so keeping them in the fridge extends their shelf life.

All of the sudden I feel good about my problem...I only have 4 soaps and 5 creams...I'll have plenty more over the next year I'm sure.

I have 7 creams and 5 soaps. Im finding some of the tub creams turning hard on the surface or almost getting a skin but nothing major!

To me soaps are like shirts -- I like to have options. I don't know the exact number, but I know what I have. I don't think about their eventual demise. What doesn't work for me is given away, sold or repurposed (eg bath soap / rags from t-shirts).

Thinking about soaps as things to be used up or as a # would reduce the enjoyment I get from shaving. As far as addictions or indulgences go, soap's not too bad.

I, like most members posting here also have more than necessary. Off the top of my head I have 7 soaps and 1 cream, not including samples. The samples are propably the only thing holding me back from splurging on a mountain of new ones I want and others ones I want to try.

I only have two soaps. A puck of Williams and a Van der Hagen. Once the Williams puck is done I'll have one only. I really like the Van der Hagen.
