    Default How many Soap/Creams do you have????

    So after some searching a manage to find some local shop that was selling quality soaps and creams. Being new to old fashion shaving i was wondering if you can have TO MUCH soaps or creams. Im only shaving every 2nd day or 3rd day. i already have 5 soaps and 3 creams which will last me maybe 2 years, and im willing to buy some more to try out. Im just afraid that over a long period some of the products will get "old" and not be usable.

    any thoughts

    At last count, 19. That doesn't include duplicates. I have 7 Tom's of Maine, 4 Arko Sticks, 3 LaToya Manantiales, 2 CO Bigelow..

    Add them in.

    I shave daily and sometimes twice a day. I don't use the same software on back-to-back days.

    I narrowed from 30 down to 6.

    Narrowed to soap only.

    4 soaps, 4 creams.

    I don't know if some soaps get old/unuseable, but I've got a puck of Crabtree and Evelyn shaving soap which is 15 years old if it's a day. Still seems to work. The smell might have faded a bit, I can't remember what it smelled like when it was new.

    I've got a puck of Nomad (my favorite) in a wooden bowl, unused for 2 years, I'm saving it for my last shave.
    I hope that's 50 years away.

    Good Luck with that

    I honestly don't want to go count them all

    Ok admittedly this is a Hobby for me, more than a way to simply shave my face, so keep that in mind and don't judge

    Creams = 28
    Soaps = 34

    That does not include tester chips, I am counting purchased soaps and creams only...
