It was an interesting documentary of a wild trail race. I think only 14 people have finished in the three decades the race has been ran.

I got in a 6 mile trail run today with five stride intervals of one minute, plus a couple of tough hills.
An 8km run yesterday morning and a 14km run this morning. Both trail runs.

A 32km ride this morning.
Today was Human Rights Day in South Africa, so we had a public holiday (I took yesterday off to make a long weekend).
A 9.5km run this morning followed by 14km ride around my hood on my "new" John Deere singlespeed.
The Cape Epic was mentioned in sports news feed I saw yesterday. I think they were saying it was coming up.
Yes, it's currently on in the Cape. The top mountain bikers in the world are racing it. A lot of the field are largely middle-aged corporate entries as the price is beyond the reach of most normal mountain bikers.
2 good friends of mine are currently lying in 2nd place in the Mixed team category.

It's been a rainy weekend so I ran on the road today. I went out to the state park and ran 7.4 miles. I didn't feel so great until halfway through, then started running pretty strong.

I ran on a paved path for today's cardio. It's been raining pretty good this week so I'm staying off the dirt trails. When I checked my tracker when I got home it showed 3.1 miles, or 5k exactly.
I see it's the Barkley Marathons this weekend.
I watched that documentary on Netflix and it's a brutal test of endurance and mental stamina.
