I didn't feel like working much today, so I had an early run instead.
Felt a wee bit sluggish today, so I only did three sets of pushups, three sets of squats before running a slow-paced 10K.
That took care of any sluggishness and left me feeling fresh and ready for whatever the day will throw at me

Working late keeps me away from proper training. So I ran 5km on an easy pace.

My workout was exactly the same as last Thursday's workout; I won't bore you with the details. Monday I start my new job; so no more lunch time workouts. I'll add another day bouldering to make it three days of bouldering; and maybe go to the gym on Sundays, if SWMBO allows it. Otherwise it's a weights workout in the lounge room with an EZ curl bar and doing pushups on three chairs.

Got some protein powder today, a very low carb one; 388 Calories per 100 grams and 80 grams of protein, 5.5 grams of carbs, no sugar. It's 96% whey protein concentrate.

For fuel today all I had is a protein shake before the workout, another after, followed by a can of herrings and one Kiwi fruit.

    Cool

Today's Workout... who knows. The weather has cleared so hoping to get out and do another 9km in the hills.

Over the past 3 months I have decided it is time to lose some weight and go in search of some fitness.
So far I've lost 10kg (about 22 lb) and walked about 200 km (about 125 miles - as fast as I could, no strolling )

Each day I am aiming for a minumum of 3 quick sets.
    pressups, oblique crunches and squats.
Started with sets of 20. Now doing sets of 30 (occassionally adding in dumbell swings of 15kg to the squats)

Other than that it's mainly been walking. Round the streets when it's been a bit wet and up in the hills when the weather is kinder.
Managing a 5km street walk in about 38 mins.
5km (2km up with lots of stairs) in the hills in 45 mins.
9km (4km up including those damn stairs) in 90 mins.

All in all this exercise thing seems to be doing me some good.
Have managed to start eating more sensibly and cut down on the alcohol.
Weight is down. Resting heart rate and blood pressure also down.
Lower cholesterol levels and related blood tests.
And... there's a variety of clothing from the back of the wardrobe that is seeing daylight once again.

3 months done... Hopefully a longer lifetime of regular exercise.

I work as an Education Coordinator in a prison. My background is teaching computing, I got a job as a Training Quality Assurance Officer in Head Office for a while.

No, the food was what I ate during the day, for tea I had 'Kofka balls', cabbage and sweet potato. So the workout was fueled by not much at all. I've lost almost all the fat on my body, my 'love handles' fat on my stomach, around my pecs, etc.

I was about 79 kilos a little over a year ago, and now I'm about 68 and still have the same strength and muscle mass. So, now I can do chinups with 7.5 kilos hung on a chain from a weight belt, which when I think about it it's moving the same amount of mass, except some of the mass isn't part of me any more!

Work out on Friday was 4 hours of chainsawing, 2 hours of cleaning up, 3 hours of whipper snipping, 30 minutes of tractor servicing and another 30 of bobcat offsider ripping out tree stumps from earlier chainsaw session...
