Gasman, those are great photos. Now hang up and drive safe!

The statute of limitations are long past so I suppose I can admit it.

I destroyed a clutch/bell housing one time going uphill at a slow rate of speed. I was 16 or 17 at the time.

No liquid on the truck but a gas wagon behind the truck.........

I needed the job and if they couldn't figure it out I wasn't going to tell them.

Well years ago tankers were heavier. Now mine is completely aluminum. With a few small brass parts. No sparks is the idea and less weight. So the odds of doing that kind of damage now is pertty low.

With the fancy new computer controlled trucks i drive now days it wont let you do stupid stuff any longer. Sometimes it drives me crazy. Damn truck drives itself at times. At least that what it feels like.

I haul 8500 to 9000 gals or im empty. Thanks for the comments on the pics. Its saturday night to me and im sitting in my easy chair in my living room. And im not talking about in my truck. Ha.

I was remembering a single axle truck with a 1000 gal 4 wheel wagon behind it......

I have been thinking about buying a new truck, [pickup] but I have no desire to talk to my truck or have anyone else talk to it either.......

I agree! But, I only drive the latest equipment now days. I don't get much choice. Although, the boss gave me a new trailer a few months back. The damn thing would break for me when it thought I was going too fast in a turn. I freaked out the first time! I took it back to the yard a couple days later and told the shop to turn that stuff off. They said its part of the programing in the computer. I took my older trailer back. I drive my truck. I don't want it driving for me!

Good guess Glen but no. I do drive that way too on the way back to the yard. But those pics were taken on i-40 between Winter Park and Kremmling. Hard to immagine that is a major intrrstate.
Hope to meet up with you some day Glen. Maybe at one of the gathering as i hear you get out this way for them.

I used to drive OTR and have done several runs out that way. Beautiful country, but the snow made for some long days. Thanks for sharing the pics.

Thanks for posting where that was. Was trying to figure it out.
Grew up west of Boulder, went skiing and hunting up that way many times.
Don't miss driving in that stuff.

    Thanks
