Come back and tell us how you like them guys. Not a whole lot of reviews on the Bison made strops.

    Scrupleworks.
    Strops

The attention to detail is the gold standard in strops. Vegtable tanned horse speaks for itself.
Celticcrusader found a man in the UK he is just starting, he offers an Italian horse strop. Waiting on his shop to go live end of the month.

Yup, I checked Scrupleworks out Jonathan. I can probably go to him and place an order for a Vege tanned Horse. Only thing that makes me second guess is, Bison made and Scrupleworks both use Horween as their supplier, so really the two should feel identical.....

Ahhhhhhhhh, yes. The Wostenholm seems to be getting some hype. He can be found on ebay as well. westholme_original on eBay

    Hopefully that link works.

That Italian Horse would be something I'd like to try.

Agreed. Torlof doesn't back his vegetable tanned .
    Does Bison??
Then I want to try oil tanned vs. vegetable tanned.
The veg tanned is zero draw, slick and fast.
I dont know enough to speak intelligently about Horween, and there products.
Seems like Horween would have different levels of quality horse.

I'm not experienced enough either with different strop materials. I've tried Bridal, Vintage cow, vintage shell, and Vege Horse. I do like a faster draw so I don't care to try an oil tanned Horse.

All I know about Bisonmade Horse is that it's Vege tanned from Horween.

Maggards sells them. Since there is a meet there in May, We can go see them in person.
Andrew if you are coming I will bring my Scrupleworks veg.horse and we can compare notes between the two makers.
Pricepoints are different . It will be a good side by side comparison .

That's a great idea Jonathan, I'll bring mine too. I do plan on coming, just need to convince some other local boys to come.
