Not quite as fine as my Tony Miller n quality but I love the lightning fast surface. I ran my W&B wedge across it because that razor has its own draw. It zipped right across it with no resistance. If you are a fan of draw, this one is not for you. I'll see how it goes over time.

My new strop has arrived. As luck would have it they did not have any of the strop I ordered left. They emailed and asked if they could make a change to the order because of no stock. I said sure as long as it was still horse and still had the cotton linen back and did not cost anymore i would be happy with what they sent. Lukcy me. It is more or less the same strop, except it is 3" wide instead of 2 1/2". It looks very nice. The leather is nicely dressed and feels like a horse strop should. The cotton linen will take a little while to break in and not be so zippy. I am not a fan of zippy. It has the shortest stropping area of all my strops. I am pretty happy with it, and in part because of the awesome sale they were having. A special thanks to HARRYWALLY aka Andrew for the tip. I now officially have enough strops for generations to come.

I opted to go for the english bridle in 3 inch width. Even though I live in Canada it was still a great deal at 50% off. Didn't really need another strop but was hard to pass up. Took almost 2 weeks to get to me, haven't had time to use it yet or even open the package, but I'm looking forward to it.

I ended up with a 3" as well even though I paid for 2 1/2". I was happy to have that substitute.

Not quite as good as the 50% off Sale they had, but still, saving on the original price is always good.
