Default Re: My Poor attempt at a Shaving Routine Video

    James,

Thanks muchly for presenting your video. It's good to know that experienced blokes can have a good shave without necessarily spending tons of time on an elaborate prep routine. Seeing how you hold the razor for the different areas of your face was really helpful to me. Kind of inspiring for this neophyte to see how fast you can complete the shave, too - wow!

    Regards,
    Jeff

Always nice to see an avid shaver at work.
    Thanks for sharing.
Am I mistaken that you once made a head shaving video as well? About a year ago, I' ve sent such a video to a head shaving friend of mine, who's not a member of SRP. He found it extremely helpful.
Was that you? Somehow, the face looked familiar.

Bart - yes, I think that was me. It is in the video sub forum somewhere.

Jim I liked the vid a lot, Im new at a straight shaving and I appreciate the no nonsense approach you have, you just get in there , get busy , and get it done. You made it look easy, I hope I can get my stropping technique as fluent as yours. BTW that is a kick ass razor you have.

It's always nice to see another shaving video to compare notes. The latherless ATG approach made me cringe a bit, but you obviously manage it fine. Thanks for posting.

    Cool video!

Also, you look like you've killed a man before.

    I'll never kill again.

But seriously, that's a great film. It's a western that deconstructs everything about the western.
