Had a few bits and bobs available and thought might be best to try recycle them. I simply love the old French style (the hardest parts were inlaying the shields and fit the finial). Finished it yesterday, honed and stropped and now's ready for a ride

That's a beautiful razor! I love how you just had a "few bits and bobs" laying around and - ok, a little bit here a little bob there - some serious skills put to it, voila! Gorgeous.
My first scales made of wood (stabilized beech), I did not manage to give them a shine but I like it like that.
