Here's the Fontenille 134 frameback pinned up and ready for the stones. She now centers perfectly! Going to hone her up to 5k tonight and set it aside for a coticule that's on its way to me.

Yes. I think the pattern is etched on the blade. There was some light rust on one spot that luckily cleared up with steel wool without hurting the etching. I've seen this pattern on several french framebacks.Quote:
