There was THUNDER in the Boars Nest's Garage This Morning :y
After several setbacks (including weather too cold to bother trying to heat the work area) and a few other things I got my Harley put back together enough to start it.
What a sweet sound to hear after so much time had passed.
Looks like I got everything done correctly (which was worrisome as the bike has assemblies like I've never worked on before) but no fuel leaks, and no oil leaks and the oil leak was the reason for the tear down.
On thing I've hated to use for years and years are worm drive hose clamps as they are just butt ugly! Especially when there is a 'tail' sticking out an inc. Oh they work but they are still ugly.
I picked up some of these to use to secure the new fuel line and they look just like OEM. Well I did get a bit anal and polished them up since they are SS.

All I need to do to have the bike road ready is to finish cleaning up the air cleaner and mount the seat. It's supposed to warm up a bit more so maybe it'll be test ride time in a day or so :tu
