I will try and give you the readers digest of this story.
I was working as a junior joiner for a short while in a cabinet shop. I was rough cutting the legs for a curio cabinet. One of them was a little off. I said I will have to make another. The guy that ran the shop said I think we can just call it the back leg.
It’s not about being perfect all the time, sometimes it’s about know how to repair, comer, or hide the flaws.

It is a burl, I do think Amboyna burl, but I don't quite remember :confused:

My next project is one which is way overdue.
I have only seen a few others with these MOP collars.
The blade is way loose and the scales have some de-lamination issues and some bug-bites. Hopefully my skills are up to the task.
Should be some nerve-wracking fun, eh? :eek:
