I don't know about 'Trojans' but 'Spartans' were Real Badasses!

It's a silly thing. The truck is an 08 Ram 3500 with a utility bed.
The old small (3-horse)trailer was a bumper-pull. Got stolen?
Since their big 6-horse gooseneck works wonderfully with this utility bed, they (she) bought this to replace it. It's a sort of lowrider and is rubbing the bed-liner coating and denting things up back at the stern.
Careful considerations conclude that lifting the trailer and running the goose-neck up will fix things. Here we go!
A bit if glass repair, after this guy took on a dead head.

For those that don't know what a deadhead is, its a nautical term that describes a log that's so saturated with water, that its neutrality buoyant. It floats just under the surface, and can be seen only when it occasionally raises its ugly head, in the waves.

My dad cured me of the wallet bleedin' evils of owning boats while growing up in Houston...all too close to Galveston. Seemed we always limped back in on 1 of 2 engines in that wooden Chris Craft. I vividly recall there was always tons of brass to polish and woodwork requiring refinishing probably owing to the strong odors of paint stripper, varnish, polish, etc. Oh, and maybe some WD-40 was involved.
Just the mere mention of all those chemicals gives me a headache.
:roflmao
Yay!

May have to do an avatar like Tom. Don't think I've earned it though!

Boats are holes you pour money into, right?
My dad keeps trying to give me his Whaler. I have enough hobbies and no time.
Maybe that is part of why my Dad didn't keep fishing boats long. Figuring if he kept them too long $omething would come up.
