I already warned her to not toss them in the sink or use them as a hammer on frozen meats. But you know thats the first thing she is going to do. Beside slicing a finger. She still cuts towards her hand. Damn Woman! I warned her but she dont listen. I can see stitches in her future.

I love giving stitches, but fingers are tough stitch.
Everyone in my family are all very careful because every time they get cut I look over with a smile and ask "stitches?"

Since it seems inevitable that she WILL cut herself--I personally believe that pics in the 'Cut of the Day' would be appropriate. :w

Mike-Just curious-are you an ER doctor or surgeon? Just saw Rambo once and thought that looked fun to try? Prepping skills for the apocalypse? Forgive my ignorance if you have shared this before. I am just curious how you became the "stitches" guy? I will cut old ones out, but never considered trying to sew them in myself!

I received EMS training and took a bunch of courses in that direction to further my (no longer) career as a life support technician for SAT divers, but I could perform just about any battlefield operation by the time I was 12. Dad made sure of that.
So my med kit is more like a walk in closet med kit, even have a defibrillator!
Delivered my youngest at home. Long story. Very terrifying and awesome at the same time.
Had to rebel against my parents, skipped med school. Though with the damage my brain sustained in accidents, I would not have made it, so I'm happy to take care of friends and family.
