Thanked: 4826Those are both options. Play around with the trim length and see if it can go. If it’s a go I’d like to see the red wedge.

Oh well
Tried to get the blade a bit to thin.

Missed it by...
...that much.
The originals are just a smidge wider than my horn and the end just gets into the wedge hole. I think I'll save these for another project and add a reinforcement to the repaired originals.
I'm thinking of milling a narrow trough across the cracked area and gluing in a piece of a sewing pin. The pin is thin enough to minimize the removal of material and should give it some extra strength while still being somewhat flexible. Or am I about to do something dumb?O'Toole's commentary on Murphy's Law: Murphy was an optimist.

Its my Saturday and I'm getting closer to putting some razors together. I ordered some colllars so I will wait for them to come in before I go any farther with the scales.
Here are a few pics of my scale work. Tru-oil finish.
Plus, I restored a couple brushes and made the big one in the middle. Waiting for the glue to dry now.
It's just Sharpening, right?

I really like the scales on the far right of the picture - is that olive wood?
Nice job on the brushes, they look good also.O'Toole's commentary on Murphy's Law: Murphy was an optimist.
