That water based poly is great stuff, and I thought that table had an island, looks sweet!

The rounds used are Smith and Weston 44 specials compliments of outback. They come in at just slightly over .5 dia. at the lower brass. Looked alright so figured give er a go..

And yes, they will be bow strops when done Paul.

Nice razor! I would like to get a razor with a nice spine stamp. I really like the one that says "I AM GOOD AND WILL SHAVE WELL".

I was referring to the Packwood. Didn't realize you had posted others recently. They multiply!

My honing affliction is starting to subside. I still have four blades left to test, but it's coming along. I decided to take a break before I get back to improving edges and picked up a nice Fredrick faux frame back in faux tortoise horn.

It's a touch under 5/8 and in fairly good condition. One of the scales has a bit of a warp and a couple of bug bites, A little time with some 3M took off a lot of the black rust. Sanding started to get a bit more of the rust. I probably won't get it all, but it should turn out nice.

The collars were really thin and small...failed at saving them. It should still look good with replacements.
