I'll take work over back spasms when I try to sit up or roll over, anytime!:deadhorse:

I've been working the heel over a little more on The Mois. The bottom of the stabilizer is a little over an eighth of an inch from the edge. Thought I'd post a pic and see what you guys think before I go to the stones. I tweaked the toe a little as well to improve the symmetry.

I've also been working with my new ark and I think I've figured a couple of things out (mostly my honing technique). I'll post about it after tomorrows shave.
That looks pretty good!
Hey J.J., That heel looks high enough and far enough forward that it should not get in your way.
Yep. Looks good from here. Nice symmetry to that blade.
You got it man. Now get it on the stones. :tu
I started on the 1K last night and I'm really glad I reshaped the heel (thank you for the push Euclid). It was so much nicer to hone. I thought I had it set last night, but after jointing the edge it turned out I just had a wire edge. I'll finish the bevel tonight and see how far I get on the 4/8K.
I try to move the corner about a ¼ inch from the start of a stabilizer.
You give up a few millimeters of length, that makes no difference in the shave, but a huge difference in honing.
The corner moved forward a bit more after getting the bevel back. It's just under 1/8" forward of the toe side of the stabilizer. Are you measuring from the toe side or pivot side of the stabilizer? 1/4" from the toe side of the stabilizer looks really far forward. Right now it's close to 1/4" from the pivot side of the stabilizer.
I'll move it forward a bit more. I've got to go back to the lower grits anyway. Test shave was a bit meh off the 8k. I took the razor to work today to look at the edge with higher mag and it's got some really small microchips.
