What are you working on?

Max was a show dog. I say was because he never really liked it very much and once he got his champion we didn't go any further. Anyway some of the crazy stuff the dog people said to do was just ridiculous. That really was like alligator wrestling.Some of it seemed downright cruel. Of course a lot of stuff the dog show people did seemed cruel to me depending on the breed. After a few times of the wrestling around we had a little tête-à-tête and came to an understanding. He's really smart and he's a really good dog. He's just headstrong which is a breed trait. Hey, when you hunt lions you better think on your feet or else you get the claws.

Honestly I've never tried that for dark horn. I've done it a little for small patches on honey horn. I'll keep that in mind though.

Edit: Horn dust that is. Never done dog toenail dust.

So, even though this thing is kinda gutless it would solve the problem with catching the dust.

I had been wanting a place/way to hold my DE, SE, And injector razor blades. I know I never talk about it but I still do use many types of razors. Mainly straights but... I put this together last week but I'm having a hard time getting the clear coats/sealers to stick as it was wet Ceder. It's getting close enough now to show off. I put a brass hinge on the top so it pivots open for adding more blades. The front has plexiglass with a slot in the bottom to pull out one blade. The bottom is for storing the injectors.

It's nowhere near as perfect as I wanted it, but being made from scrap in my garage, What the hell. It works!

Now I'm working on making one of the drawers in my Razor Cabinet hold my OTHER Razors better. You know me. I got to be organized!

Red cedar can hold moisture for a very long time.

That's very clever Jerry. I never would have thought of that. I bet the barbers that still use a shavette would love that idea.

I have to admit that one of the Donors for the Giveaway sent me something close to it that holds packs of DE blades. So its not a fully original idea. Just customized.

Copying someone else’s work is in its own way a compliment to the originator. Key is in giving credit where credit is due.
