Okay, case in point. See how Roy's are all a little different in shape? I think, and I emphasize "think," that each blank might have come out of the forge a little different and or each grinder did it a little differently and or each grind was a little different even for the same grinder and or someone along the process had a "whoops" and the manufacture was different from there out. If you look at the notch from the toe end you will see that they were often not straight or symmetrical. They were all handmade and therefore all individuals. That's actually a good thing. Yours looks fine and will probably be fabulous with the right attention.
