    Finished the G.Johnson blade, last night.

    Pinned it up tonite, with the original wedge, some brass collars from Austin, in addition to a brass flat washer that was used to cover the abnormally large pivot holes in the scales.

    I gave these two Timeless Razors (OC78 and a SB38) a polishing today. Solid Bronze razors. It's hard to get the shine to show in the pic but I'm much happier with them untarnished.

    Maas and elbow grease. I had some time on my hands so I opted for not breaking out the buffer.

    Cleaning up another set of scales. Digging out the delamination and dirt from the pivot ends.

    Using my broken dental pick that I've made into a sharp, micro chisel. Slowly chipping away till its all gone.

    Once all is removed it gets sanded smooth. ( helps blend the repair.

    Note: this repair is done from the inside/flat side of the scales, keeping the original outer layer of horn intact.

    I can take um out, to clean them now. That is if I bother putting them in.

    Funny thing....Stopped at the store to pick up some chewin tobacco.

    Kid behind the counter says, you don't want that.! I ask...why not.?! He tells me it'll rott my teeth out.

    I gave him my toothless smile and said..no worries, mate.
