hi
any advise on filling divits in horn scales?
I have some on the outside too.
My experience with CA is only on my finger nails and it did not work well.
Horn dust, and epoxy is best. But I've used bakealite dust as well.

Although I still have plenty of work to do on the blade, I eventually started working on the replacement scales for the Joseph Rodgers
Have almost now finished shaping them. Just need to take off some material at one end and then I'll start thinning them down.

+ 1 on what Mike said Tony. Can we also see some pics of it from the side? Looks like you're doing a great job on the scales so far. :tu
Honey coloured, semi translucent horn.
