I mean......Will you finish it on the side of the finisher as well? Touching it up, even stropping it would be iffy, I think?

Small steps to correct the geometry can be taken, in spite of the wonky spine. Pressure, honewear, etc JMO

No, I set the bevel on the side of my King 1k because it's roughly 1" wide. Then I use a 1 inch coticule, just like anyone else would, to finish it.
Ask Jonathan what he thinks of this method. I sent him a Fredericks celebrated that I honed just like this, he didn't complain about the edge. :shrug:

My master mumbled something about fixing a broken scale on the George Butler. Something about mixing up some red dust from some Bloody Red Jasper recon with epoxy & putting the scale back together..................

I often wonder how the got the dye to penetrate so deep into the horn. It has to be a combination of heat and pressure. Pressure cooker?
