Thanks Hirlau but I'll pass. I have it nice and shiny again and it will go on display. The only time I use a DE is when I travel......although sometime for the SOTD I should do a lousy shave with the Gillette Dial a Shave with canned goo topped off with Vegetal.:rofl2:

The Blue Tip is definitely the least aggressive of the Super Speeds. The Red Tip is the one that is heavier and more aggressive than the regular SS. I have one from the 1st quarter of 1957 (my birth year and quarter) that I had replated. It is one of my go to razors when I don't have the time for a straight shave. It shaves very nicely on a heavier beard. At least like a 7 or so on an adjustable IMO.

The non-bleach version of Scrubbing Bubbles also works really well on a safety razor that has gotten a little scummy. Just spray it on, let it sit for a few minutes, and then hit it with an old toothbrush.

Yes, I use Scrubbing Bubbles each time,,, I use Scrubbing Bubbles on about everything. I use the jewelry cleaner as a last procedure.
