Some fine work on this Connecticut ingenious razor. From what I gather they are fine shavers as well. Landers Frary & Clark was one of those companies that made anything and everything like General Electric. Actually GE purchase the entire company in 1965. Anyway great job, let us know how the shave is.

Panama sent me the DT14 with the pitting on the bevel and he wasn't kidding about how deep it was. I started honing it out and noticed that the corner at the toe was warped(probably from a drop). This had to be dealt with or it would affect the formation of the new bevel and possibly scratch strops. Luckily it wasn't too bad and I was able to fix it on the Chosera 1k, maintaining something close to the original profile. after getting the DEEP pitting honed out it took a great edge without loosing much width. In other news. My little girl has been asking me to make her a slingshot, so here's my sloppy scroll saw work. This is an indoor slingshot for shooting folded paper. I told her when she gets good with it we'll make a bigger one for shooting rocks. She's 5 years old and she wants to be a Ninja when she grows up. Attachment 254868

Nice work on the DT and all kids should have slingshots.

Your daughter's slingshot looks a lot better than my first slingshot. Be proud of her when she learns to upgrade her ammo (and you know she will).
