All I know is what I think I read. Could be wrong?
The Hoppe name is synonymous with Henckels, and more.
Some history would be nice!

Well here is my latest Special. Had warped scales and wonky blade and patina.
Addressed the wonky edge with a diamond plate, some sand paper and time. Cleaned blade with white diamond liquid polish and 3000 grit trizact foam then back over blade with just white diamond liquid. Heat gun to correct the scales clean those with 3000 grit and whit diamond. Then 're pinned her and just done putting the edge on. Now to shave with this and another blade up for testing.
Great work lately gents keep it coming!
I am uncertain the order in which things unfolded. Did he work for Henckels while running his own company or did he strike out on his own after he left Henckels. Or was there some back and forth. I'm interested in hearing the details too.
I think many of us are interested to hear this
AFAIK, He brought grinding skills and a fine reputation to Henckels.
Why else would his name and that of Henckels be upon the same razor?
