Well what did you bake? Are the holes for a topping to soak down through?
When I get caught up on razor projects, this will be next. W&B Celebrated. 13/16. As you can see, some of the bottom of the stamp on the blade has been honed away and a lot of hone marks above the bevel and on the spine. The scales were damaged beyond repairing. Crossing my fingers I can get the hone marks out of this thing without taking any more of the blade stamp away.

I am curious what the baking is.
I would concentrate on simply reducing the scratches from previous buffing on that W&B and not worry so much about making it perfect and shiny. Sometimes we can only make them so pretty, they are old and many have a lot of experience.
I got one more off the bench and into the to be honed box today. I have one waiting in line for the vibrating tumbler and one in the tumbler. The one waiting needs scales, but the one in the tumbler, I have the original scales for it. Here is the one that needs to be honed.

Thanks for the comment Rez. I will do just that. Reduce the scars. Do you recommend the buffer or just doing it by hand?
BTW, I like those washers you got on that one. A touch of fancy to it. Bravo.
