I'm bonding a natural combo coticule to a piece of Belgian Blue Whetstone I've had for a while which was missing the coti part. I recently found this coticule and it was very worn and dished. After lapping it was only just 3/8 thick so to give it some support (and because I had a spare BBW) I did this. I used epoxy on the advice of outback, and I filled in some of the chips in the corners. Tomorrow I will sand it clean.

I see you taped yours, good thinking.
I almost screwed mine up, but lucky I caught it before the epoxy set.
I had a weight on mine, and the two stones slid apart some. [emoji57]
After a long, hot, and hard day at the shop yesterday, I am chilling at home to-day in my cave.
This nice cabinet was used for office supplies at the shop until recent renovations.
I brought it home, cleaned, polished it and bought a new lock for it, drug out my sets and pairs piled in my gun-safe.
Now I can get to anything easily and some NOS strops can be laid flat on the bottom. I will be adding a honing setup and a tray which will go on the middle shelf. Lots of room for additional shelves should I need them.

My strops were also hanging in the gun-safe. Fairly inconvenient.
I had snagged a few of these 4 row hangars as cleaning out the in-law's house a while back. With all the strops tagged at the top, half can be swung-out and accessed from one side, the other half from the other side
It will hang in a small closet in my cave.

Nice to get some of this stuff out of a pile and organized.
Now to rewire a lamp! :D
Lookin' good Tom, feels good to get the gear organized. Love the strop socks!
Organized is good! Looking good Tom.
The strop hanger is cool. But that cabinet is really nice, i am slightly jealous
