Oh boy...... I'm not sure what to say now, other than this will be noted for the future...
The cracks are mainly in the rim. I think that I can get them closed and for all practical purposed you would not notice.
As a collector item..........
One of these days I have to buy about 20 knots to fill all these handles I have.
Sweet brush handles, Andrew. :D
Back together. I figure aboot 9 hours with multiple water and office cool-offs.

I get a wild hair and do them like this several times a year.
Hey! A 1200 dollar day!
NO. No screws left over! :rofl2:
Is there enough room to sand it down past the cracks???? About the only thing I can think of. Like Eric said, a good tig welder could do it, but the heat would have to be so precise with that thin aluminium.
Nice job on the car Tom, that's amazing! That mess looked like automotive spaghetti to my untrained eyes, now it looks like a car. Hey, good cha-ching too. you've earned it for certain.
It has been a while but I have laid a bead on a beer can.
It is more of setting the machine up than your skill.
Unless one of you guys say that this brush is worth over $500 I am not going to fool with it and make it work.:hmmm:
If I was perfect I wouldn't be here.
I am thinking that if I used smaller grabs with the vice and rotated it more i would have had better luck.
